What we collect
When you order, we collect your name, email address, phone number(s), delivery address, delivery details (floor, lift, preferred date and notes), your chosen payment method and the details of your order. If you contact us, we keep your messages.
Why we use it
- To process, confirm and deliver your order, and to contact you about it (to perform our contract with you).
- To keep sales and tax records (a legal obligation).
- To deal with returns, faults and questions (our contract and our legitimate interests).
We do not sell your information, and we do not send you marketing.
Who we share it with
- Google – we store orders in Google Sheets and send order emails with Google (Gmail). Google may process data outside the UK, protected by legal safeguards.
- Our delivery team – to deliver your sofa.
- Our bank – if you pay by bank transfer.
- WhatsApp – only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for 6 years, because the law requires us to keep sales records. Other messages are kept only as long as we need them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Email info@tectonagrandisfurniture.co.uk. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
